Intellias, a global technology partner to Fortune 500 companies, has announced the appointment of John Godwin as VP of Retail UK. Mr Godwin joins Alexander Goncharuk, who became VP of global retail in October 2022. Together, Mr Goncharuk and Mr Godwin bring more than 40 years of experience in digital transformation and leadership and will work to expand Intellias’ presence in the retail industry.
With a longstanding career and reputation for delivering practical digital transformation projects, Mr Godwin most recently served as digital director of Travis Perkins, the UK’s largest builders’ merchants. In this role, Mr Godwin led the team that built the first industry app for the trade, which launched in April 2021 to groundbreaking success. His role at Intellias will involve developing and implementing digital transformation strategies for retail clients in the UK, leveraging his knowledge to create new opportunities for growth and success.
Mr Godwin joins Mr Goncharuk, who most recently built and led Digitally Inspired from its inception in 2016 until its acquisition by Intellias in September 2022. Mr Goncharuk brings decades of experience in critical verticals, from financial services to retail and business development. In his new role as VP of global retail, Mr Goncharuk has so far focused on integrating Digitally Inspired into Intellias and delivering innovative solutions to the retail market by improving pre-sales, sales, and delivery offerings.
