Zerto Appoints Matt Boris as Vice President of Global Go-to-Market

Matt Boris has been promoted to head of worldwide Go-to-Market at Zerto. Mr Boris, who previously led Zerto sales in the Americas and Asia, will now be responsible for driving the company’s overall GTM strategy around the globe.

The appointment marks a significant investment by parent company Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) in Zerto with a goal to double the size of the business in the next 24 months. Under Mr Boris’ leadership, Zerto will focus on maximising growth opportunities by expanding into new markets and increasing its presence in EMEA and APAC, including Australia, Hong Kong, and Malaysia.

As part of his broader role, Mr Boris will also focus on unifying the company’s GTM strategy with MSPs and channel partners. One of the key drivers of growth will be HPE GreenLake, its edge-to-cloud platform, where Zerto will play a critical role. The company is also expanding its reach into GSI through strategic alliances with Deloitte, HCL Tech, TCS, and Wipro.

Mr Boris, who has worked in senior roles at Zerto for more than six years, is a strong advocate of the company’s internal promotion culture and the growth opportunities presented by the expanded role. “I am honoured to be given the opportunity to lead our worldwide efforts,” he said, “and I look forward to working with the Zerto team to drive growth and expand our reach into new markets.”

“Matt’s appointment as head of Worldwide Go-to-Market is a testament to his leadership and experience within the company,” said Gilles Theibaut, senior vice president of global partner sales and business development, HPE. “We are confident that his deep understanding of Zerto and our customers, coupled with his drive for success, will take us to new heights. We are excited for this next chapter under his guidance and look forward to the growth and success that lies ahead for the business.”

In addition, Zerto has appointed Ben Jenkins as sales director of Americas East and Sasha Acosta as sales director of Americas West. Along with Boris, the two roles are critical for the Zerto Americas business as it scales to meet customer demands in 2023 and beyond. The Americas roles will complement Vera Wolf, VP of sales EMEA, to build a global presence focusing on new customer acquisition, growing existing accounts, and supporting Zerto’s partner Go-to-Market strategy.
