Content+Cloud appoints new Chief Revenue Officer

Content+Cloud today announces the appointment of David Kress who joins the company in the newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer.

David Kress

David brings more than two decades of senior sales and leadership experience to his role and will drive the top line growth and go to market strategy for the business, working closely with the strong existing commercial leadership in place at C+C.

Prior to joining Content+Cloud, David spent over six years as the managing director at Cloudreach, a leading multi-cloud services company, and SVP of Atos OneCloud, Northern Europe, after Atos’ acquisition of Cloudreach in 2021. In this last role, he oversaw a high-performing, multi-disciplinary services team of more than 800 people delivering public cloud engineering, platform, data and advisory solutions to enterprise clients.

David has been deeply involved in the public cloud market in the UK, leading growth at Cloudreach, driving a six-year CAGR of over 30% and winning more CSP Partner Awards than any other systems integrator in the market.

Before this, David spent his career pioneering and applying agile methodologies to enterprise B2B sales, improving the customer experience, and driving sustainable growth. He is a physical scientist by training (BSc, Penn State) and has spent the last 20+ years in enterprise IT, running organisations in North America, Europe and Asia.

He’s been involved in multiple successful transactions, including being acquired, raising funding, being spun off, and acquiring and integrating companies. This broad base of experience has helped focus his efforts on restarts and high growth opportunities.

He has joined C+C as Chief Revenue Officer to accelerate the growth aspirations within the Microsoft ecosystem and to maximise the opportunities with Advania.

Geoff Kneen, CEO, Content+Cloud, said: “This is a great appointment for C+C and I am looking forward to working closely with David. It is clear he is a leader with integrity, a deep client focus and a real passion for creating a collaborative culture where he proactively supports people in achieving their goals and developing their careers. David will be a great addition to our already strong Senior Leadership Team bringing further insight and contribution to our strategic development and our M&A goals of further consolidating the UK market within cloud services.”

On his appointment, David said: “I am thrilled to join C+C at this stage in its growth. Our customers are facing significant headwinds and increased competition and they are in dire need of partners who can help them realise their digital imperative, not just transact the next project. Microsoft has been a foundation for transformation and innovation for decades, and together C+C, Advania and Microsoft are in a tremendous position to help clients achieve their unique and specific ambitions. C+C is situated to disrupt the market and to continue to be an amazing place for people to grow. Who wouldn’t want to be part of that?”
