Tech Data has appointed Annette Cunningham as vice president sales, UK and Ireland. Previously field and corporate sales director, she joined the company in November 2020 having held a number of senior sales leadership positions supporting the channel. Cunningham has worked within the IT industry for more than three decades.
David Watts, managing director and senior vice president, UK and Ireland, Tech Data, said: “Since joining Tech Data, Annette has been a huge asset to our business – as an exemplary leader and mentor. She has a great record of partnership and brings a raft of channel experience to her new role. I look forward to Annette joining our UK&I board, to contribute to and support our strategic direction including the drive to higher value to support our partners’ growth.”
Annette Cunningham adds: “I am honoured to have been given this opportunity to shape and develop the vitally important relationships between Tech Data and all its customers across the UK and Ireland. Annette Cunningham becomes the fourth female member of the Tech Data UK and Ireland board, joining human resources director Jodie Carrol, legal director Sonna Monfared, and group marketing director Linda Patterson. Her appointment is effective 1 August 2022.
