Tech Data is partnering with MendIT, extended warranty, insurance, and onsite repair specialist to offer the company’s nationwide services.
This will enable Tech Data’s retailer and reseller partners to be able to quote their customers for extended and on-site warranties and repair services provided by MendIT. More than 300 different contracts, covering all major hardware brands, are available for resellers to offer to their commercial and public sector customers. Burnley-based MendIT offers services on all leading vendors of laptops, PCs, tablets, and mobile phones.
Tech Data has appointed a full-time business development executive, Rachel Baker, to support partners in identifying and winning business with MendIT.

As part of its launch plan, Tech Data is offering a free OtterBox protective case for mobile phones on selected MendIT contracts. OtterBox specialises in producing mobile device cases that are resistant to water, shock, drops and other kinds of trauma.
