Well it’s a fond fare well and new beginnings for PCR as going forward Laura Barnes the long-standing editor of PCR has decided to step down from her role to pursue another avenue.
From the September issue I will be taking over from Laura. I have an extensive background in both print and digital publishing having previously edited trade publications for the electronics component, energy management, microelectronics and semiconductor industries with an editorial career spanning some 15 years across these sectors.
I’m looking forward to meeting with the industry and learning more about the fascinating tech and interesting business trends currently shaping our coverage.
Coming up in the September issue
Diversity in the channel, which includes our annual Top 25 Women in Tech feature.
Alongside this we will be looking at the refurb tech market, and running sector guides on creative tech & software, as well as refurbished hardware.
Opinions
We are looking for 500-700 word opinion/analysis pieces from the industry around diversity or the refurb market.
