GIGABYTE’s new AERO laptops for content creator now available in the UK

GIGABYTE’s new generation of AERO Series laptops for professional content creators are now available for purchase from UK resellers.

Having recently received a 2020 Red Dot Design Award, and new range features 10th Gen Intel Core H-series processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20 SUPER graphics. In partnership with NVIDIA, new AERO Series laptops with RTX Studio are also supplied with a free Adobe Creative Cloud 3-month subscription, worth over £180.

The GIGABYTE AERO Series is the world’s first range of laptops to feature Microsoft Azure AI, which intelligently adjusts power profiles on a per-application basis to provide the optimal work environment for creators.

With the user’s consent, AERO Series laptops send application usage data back to the cloud, allowing the Azure AI service to learn and continuously optimise and adjust CPU, GPU and fan settings for the best experience. This eliminates the need for manual adjustment of power profiles (though that option remains for those who prefer manual control), providing the best performance and battery life, no matter which application is being used.

One of the creative professionals currently using the AERO 17 HDR for their work is Mark AJ Nazal (pictured), an Emmy Award-winning visual effects artist involved in the production of hit TV series including Lucifer and Westworld. Nazal stated that his AERO laptop is equipped with a processor and graphics that boost his work efficiency by enabling him to conduct a fast preview in the editing software, and that the portability of the laptop allows him to work efficiently while on the road.

“I knew the colour was off for the longest time and DaVinci Resolve actually stopped working on my PC for some reason,” said Sylvia Ray, independent filmmaker, director, and screenwriter, “…until I got my hands on AERO 15 OLED, I was able to see clearly what was working and what was not, and make the adjustments I needed to make. When I had my final export for the pilot, editing the trailer was a cinch and took less than a minute to export I believe.”

GIGABYTE AERO Series laptops are the first to be fitted with a Samsung AMOLED display, which not only supports 100% DCI-P3 – a standard gamut for digital content – but also conforms to the VESA Display HDR 400 True Black standard. Compared to conventional LCD panels, which support the sRGB gamut, the AERO Series screens are able to display 25% more colours, in addition to finer details. All displays are Xrite Pantone certified and individually calibrated with professional colour calibrating equipment. GIGABYTE insists on calibrating every single display to ensure that every AERO Series laptop is ready to use by creative professionals straight out of the box.

The full line of AERO Series laptops for creative professionals is available now, via all major resellers. This includes the AERO 15 OLED, AERO 15, AERO 17 HDR, and AERO 17. Purchasers of RTX Studio models are entitled to three months of free Adobe Creative Cloud membership, courtesy of NVIDIA.
