Exertis to distribute Alaris scanners, software and services

Exertis has announced a new distribution agreement with Alaris for its award-winning range of desktop and departmental scanners, software and services.

“We are delighted to be able to offer our reseller partners the full range of award-winning scanners and software from Alaris. This new agreement will further enhance our scanner product range enabling our hardware resellers to add value to their portfolio with capture software and for ISVs to enhance their hardware offering, as Alaris is able to build connectors to different kinds of software,” said Alistair Coyne, Exertis OA general manager.

“It also demonstrates our continued investment in our print business unit with the appointment of Hayley Ratcliffe as a new Alaris product manager and the recruitment for a new role for an Alaris sales specialist to further support the channel.”

The agreement also underpins Alaris’ strategy to expand its two-tier distribution channel model and grow its reseller customer base.

Alaris will leverage Exertis’ expertise to support partner recruitment, increase supply chain efficiency and deliver value-added services, including training and professional services support, to its channel partners.

Owen Balloch, Northern European marketing manager at Alaris, a Kodak Alaris business, said: “Exertis’ expertise and knowledge of our technology sector makes it the perfect partner for Alaris. As digital transformation remains at the top of the agenda for businesses of all sizes and in all sectors, Alaris’ award-winning range of information capture solutions that simplify business processes, presents an excellent opportunity for resellers to increase their revenues.”
