Arbor Networks strengthens EMEA Channel position with new hire

Network security vendor Arbor Networks, the security division of NetScout, has announced the appointment of James Cater to the position of vice president and general manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Based in Burlington, Massachusetts, Arbor generates more than half of its revenue from international markets and has been active in EMEA for more than 15 years. Cater will be responsible for driving Arbor’s sales and channel initiatives as the company further penetrates the service provider and enterprise markets with its suite of visibility, DDoS defence and advanced threat protection solutions.

Cater brings with him over 25 years of experience across several industries, including service providers, global enterprise, healthcare and financial services. He joins Arbor from Tata Communications where he was vice president of the Global Systems Integrators Business building, scaling global partnerships and providing them with knowledge, skills and investment needed to scale their business and open new markets.
