Everything from Mr Muscle cleaning products to Mentos can now be ordered with the click of a button. Expanding on its existing range of Dash Buttons, Amazon has announced a host of new products now available at the click of a button.
Newly added brands include Duracell, Glade, Wellman and Tassimo as Amazon expands its Dash Button range to include 65 products. New retail categories include confectionery, vitamins and batteries, as Amazon looks to make using its service even easier. Available for Prime members from today for £4.99, customers will receive a £4.99 discount on their first press.
“Customers love the convenience of Dash Buttons, feedback has been hugely positive, and we also heard loud and clear that customers wanted more brands and more products across more retail categories,” said Jorrit Van der Meulen, vice president of Devices at Amazon. “Today we’re excited to add even more top-name brands for customers, extending the programme to cover dozens of retail categories, with new Dash Buttons from customer-favourite brands like Duracell, Glade, IAMS, Heineken, Mr. Muscle and Tassimo.”
Dash Buttons launched in the UK last year, with a number of products already proving their worth. Of the existing brands, Andrex was the most popular closely followed by cleaning brands Finish and Ariel. Coffee manufacturer Nescafe and pet food supplier Whiskas also made it in to the top 10, that was largely dominated by cleaning products.
Whiskers senior brand manager Gina Head said that she expects the new brands to see greater sales as a result of teaming up with Amazon’s Dash Buttons service. “The Amazon Dash Button has given customers a simple and easy way to reorder Whiskas products they depend on,” she said. “In fact, when we first launched the Whiskas Dash Button it was so popular we saw the button sell out in the first 24 hours. It’s given our customers a simple way of shopping that makes their lives easier and ensures that their cats never go without Whiskas."
