Kaspersky’s consumer sales director Lee Sharrocks departs

Kaspersky Lab’s Lee Sharrocks has left the security vendor, with the firm hiring David Mole who takes on a similar position.

Sharrocks joined Kaspersky in 2011 as director of retail for the northern region and has been the consumer sales director for the UK & Ireland since 2012.

He joined the company from Symantec, which he was at since 2002 working in various sales manager and director roles.

A regular commentator on this industry, Sharrocks has spoken to PCR about a number of topics such as mobile security and Kaspersky’s retail push.

Kaspersky has hired David Mole as head of retail. He joins from EA, where he was responsible for all elements of the commercial delivery and driving digital at retail for UK and Ireland.

In his new role as Head of Retail, Mole’s responsibilities are focused on "setting, implementing and constantly refining the go-to-market strategy combined with maximising the commercial delivery of sales of Kaspersky Lab’s cyber security consumer products throughout the retail channel", Kaspersky said in a statement.
