Azlan, Tech Data’s enterprise distribution arm, is collaborating with systems integrator Cisilion and storage vendor EMC to deliver enhanced enterprise storage solutions.
The collaboration will mean close co-operation between the companies on a number of EMC projects, in which Azlan will provided pre-sales support, professional services expertise and product fulfilment on the vendor’s solutions to Cisilion, with additional support from EMC itself.
Azlan will also become Cisilion’s sole distribution provider of EMC solutions.
Nick Paul, sales sirector and EMC executive sponsor at Cisilion, said: “While Cisilion has been a reseller of other storage providers for many years, EMC is the global leader that will help transform the operations of Cisilion’s customers. This agreement allows us to work more strategically with EMC to help our customers achieve cost reductions while strengthening our own storage propositions.”

Through this initiative, Cisilion, Azlan and EMC plan to deliver comprehensive solutions that will help end-user clients reduce the cost of operations in terms of management, deployment and data centre costs, whilst helping them reduce the data footprint in remote locations.
