Asus unveils new Transformer Book Chi series and two Zenfones

Jonney Shih Chairman at Asus has debuted some of the company’s latest innovations at CES in Vegas.

The new products include a complete new lineup of the Transformer Book Series. Which are thin two-in-one laptops that transform into Windows tablets.

The Tranformer Book Chi comes in three sizes, with the flagship device boasting a 12.5-inch screen, a 7.6mm thick tablet and features Intel Core M processor plus all-day battery life.

Shih commented: “The Asus Transformer Book Chi is the ultimate dream machine that wraps mobility entertainment and productivity all into one beautiful device.”

Two Zenfones were also introduced at the show. The first being the ASUS Zenfone 2, which shows off a 13MP PixelMaster camera, 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor and 4GB RAM.

Its Intel LTE-Advanced model provides rapid 4G/LTE connectivity and it is built on the Asus ZenUI experience.

The Zenfone Zoom, the thinner sister of the Zenfone 2 also boasts a 13MP camera with 3X optical zoom, as well as a rear facing camera with ten-element lens design with up to a 12X digital zoom.

The mobile’s camera also benefits from an optical image stabiliser and a laser auto-focus for sharper images.
