AMD has announced the appointment of James A. Clifford as the company’s new VP of global operations.
Clifford will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of AMD’s manufacturing and supply chain strategy.
He has over 25 years of experience in the industry and joins AMD from RF Micro Devices, where he was VP of global sourcing and foundry technology.
Clifford also previously spent 17 years at Qualcomm as senior VP and general manager of operations, as well as senior vice president of Qualcomm CDMA Technology.
