Tesco customers fight over TVs as Black Friday turns ugly, videos show

There is a hell on Earth, it seems. It can be found at your local Tesco superstore at midnight on Black Friday, as proven in these videos.

Crowds flocked to find a bargain at midnight this morning (November 28th) as Tesco offered cut-price deals on a wide variety of items including tech goods such as sound bars and Blaupunkt TVs.

Some customers shout and fought with one another over the items, while large numbers of people surged forwards to grab a bargain. Police were called in to manage the chaos in some stores, including those in London, Manchester, Bristol, Dundee and more, arresting several customers.

Fights broke out in a Stretford shop, while several hundred customers refused to leave a Middleton store even after all the discounted stock had sold out, reports suggest.

Several customers captured the chaos on their smartphones and uploaded footage online, which makes for some rather depressing viewing (note: some strong language):
