Plus, John Lewis' William Jones signs up to replace Rebecca Smith

Maplin, Co-op, DinoPC join PCR Retail Advisory Board

Several leading retail buyers in the UK PC and tech market have joined the PCR Retail Advisory Board.

Maplin product manager David Chorlton (pictured) has signed up, as has Naeem Adam, technology buyer for Co-operative e-stores and electrical buying group.

Vladimir Kuznetsov, owner of gaming PC system builder DinoPC.com, has also joined, along with Argos’ new technology trading manager Juliet Ward

John Lewis electricals and home technology buyer William Jones has replaced Rebecca Smith on the panel, who has moved from the retailer’s computing team to work on its beauty category.

Each month PCR questions the Retail Advisory Board on the latest tech trends and news. The panel was set up in late 2012 and has grown to include more than 20 members. These include buyers for national retailers such as Dixons Retail, as well as independents like PC Pal, as well as system builders like Scan Computers, and trade organisations including Network Group.

If you work for a retailer, etailer, reseller, system builder or trade organisation in the PC/tech channel, and would like to join, please email dominic.sacco@intentmedia.co.uk
