Microsoft Surface Power Cover boosts battery life by up to 70%

Microsoft has released the Power Cover for the Surface range of tablets.

Previously announced alongside the Surface 2 in September last year, the Power Cover supports both generations of Microsoft’s tablets.

The cover, which houses a keyboard and battery, can provide up to 70 per cent longer battery life for the tablets, Microsoft says.

The case is available to pre-order in the US now for $200 (£120), with a UK price and release date yet to be announced.
