Registration has opened for the Gadget Show Live Professional.

The trade event is taking place at the NEC in Birmingham on April 8th 2014, and will see over 5,500 visitors from the gadget, technology and toy retailers in the UK – including over 250 tech suppliers and manufacturers who can be met face-to-face for discussions and demonstrations.

Previous visitors include the BBC, Argos, Currys and PC World, Game, Toys R Us, John Lewis, Harrods and Microsoft.

In addition to the show floor, there will be a number of presentations in the HUB Theatre about products and services due to be launched in the UK throughout 2014.

The event will also host the launch of the British Inventors Project, which will be home to a selection of products from British innovators, none of which are yet available on the market. Prototypes and design concepts will also be showcased in the Future Tech Zone, where futuristic technology will be sourced from the very best inventors both at home and abroad.

“2014 is already proving to be an exciting year for consumer technology,” said event director Sally Bent.

"Anticipation and consumer demand is at an all-time high for wearable tech, for example, which will be just one of a wide range of genres well represented at the show this April."

"For anyone working in technology-related industries, a trip to Gadget Show Professional this spring is an unmissable date for the diary. As they say, ‘miss it, miss out’."

"It really is the only way to stay ahead of the curve and keep up to date with product launches planned for this year and way into the future.”

Attendees can register through the Gadget Show Live Professional website now for free, and save £15 on the door.
