Nokia Normandy Android smartphone prototype leaked

An Image of what appears to be a prototype of the Nokia Normandy has leaked onto Twitter.

The low-end smartphone is rumoured for a 2014 release and will have a tweaked version of Google’s Android operating system.

The image was tweeted by @seamissu on January 12th. The user claims the image is of an ‘engineering prototype’ of the Nokia Normandy.

The Normandy is reported to be aimed at the low-cost segment like Nokia’s Asha series, but with access to more traditional smartphone apps.

Other rumours include dual-SIM support, a single button below the screen, 5MP rear camera, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
