Lumia 1020 rumoured to include 11x digital zoom and 4.5-inch screen

Nokia July 11th press event to be live streamed; Lumia 1020 with 41MP camera expected

Nokia is set to announce its new flagship smartphone on July 11th, and the event will be live streamed via Nokia Conversations.

It is highly expected that Nokia will unveil its long-anticipated Lumia 1020 with a 41MP camera.

The Lumia 1020 – also thought to be called the 909, Elvis or EOS – is rumoured to come with Nokia Pro Cam software, 11x digital zoom, 4.5-inch AMOLED display, 4G LTE support and 32GB of internal storage.

As subtle as ever, Nokia’s invitation is titled ’41 million reasons’, strongly hinting that the next phone will indeed include that hotly tipped 41MP camera.

Nokia last flagship smartphone, the Lumia 925 was also rumoured to include the massive camera, but it turned out to only offer the same 8.7MPs as the last model, the 920.

Nokia’s press event takes place on Thursday July 11th at 11am EST (4pm GMT) and can be live streamed at conversations.nokia.com.
