New tablet aims to make surfing the web safer for kids

Yarvik introduces the Junior Tablet

Yarvik has unveiled a new tablet designed especially with children and parents in mind.

Preloaded with KIDO’Z Fun & Safe Play Mode, the custom interface intends to make sure kids can enjoy the tablet’s applications as well as external content in a safe and fun way without being exposed to unwanted content.

The Junior Tablet features an array of colours and a rubberised grip, designed to make it appealing and easy to handle for kids from three years old and up.

With KIDO’Z, parents have full control over the content the Junior Tablet can access. Decide what kinds of videos are suitable to watch, or which websites can be viewed. It is even possible to set a timer to limit the usage of the device.

KIDO’Z also has a dedicated App Store allowing parents to add apps and games to the Junior Tablet that are specifically developed for kids.

The Junior Tablet comes with an 8-inch capacitive multi-touch screen, Cortex A9 1GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB of storage, MicroSD slot and a 2.0MP rear camera.

The Yarvik Junior Tablet is available from mid-June. Visit yarvik.com/juniortablet for more information.
