Sales director completes ‘toughest 70.3 in the world’

Interactive Ideas’ Brett Savidge completes Ironman 70.3 triathlon

Interactive Ideas sales director Brett Savidge has completed his first half Ironman 70.3 triathlon.

Savidge, along with 2000 other athletes, competed in what is deemed the ‘toughest 70.3 in the world’.

Taking place at Exmoor, the triathlon starts with a 1.2-mile swim in Wimbleball Lake, followed by a 56-mile bike ride across Exmoor and a 31.1-mile run around the lake.

Savidge commented: “The six months of training 10 – 12 hours a week was worth it when I crossed the finish line in six hours and 28 minutes. I’ve really enjoyed the challenge of training and competing for this event and have registered for a full Ironman in Germany next year.”
