New Ofcom report reveals TV, broadband and mobile service complaints

BT Vision: The most complained about TV service

Ofcom’s report on ‘pay TV service complaints’ reveals BT Vision attracts 27 complaints per 100,000 customers.

The report, which reveals BT Vision as the most complained about service, said that common issues for complaints were related to billing and sales processes, rather than technical problems with the product.

Performing slightly better was Virgin Media, which attracted seven complaints per 100,000 customers, and Sky TV, which attracted only three complaints per 100,000.

“From spring 2012 we began to add more new customers than Sky and Virgin combined – when you have more new customers you see more problems in early life," BT said in a statement.

The complaints report also revealed stats about broadband and mobile service providers.

TalkTalk was the most complained about broadband service provider with 56 complaints per 100,000 customers. 3UK was revealed as the most troublesome mobile network in the UK, with 14 complaints per 100,000.
