Mystery shopper reveals gaps in retail knowledge

3D doesn’t stand out in Gloucester

A mystery shop in Gloucester showed that most retailers don’t know enough about 3D to ably sell it to consumers.

PCR’s mystery shopper visited six stores in Gloucester, on the lookout for 3Dlaptops and monitors. The majority had to do research simply to talk about 3D equipment and most stores had nothing relevant in stock.

However, the mystery shopper was impressed with the indie retailer – Eastgate Computers – that offered to build him a computer aimed at showing off 3D.
