Smartphone OS proves popular in this month?s mystery shopper

Androids take over Leeds

Our Mystery Shopper ventured deep into Leeds to explore its smartphone retailers and see what they had to offer.

Key requirements included being able to edit documents, email and social networking, the ability to take good photos and video, a decent battery life and a fair tariff.

The HTC Desire HD, running the Android OS, made the strongest showing in the recommendations, though a wide variety made an appearance, including handsets by Nokia and Samsung.
