Erotic novel tops Kindle chart

Jenna Bayley-Burke’s saucy Compromising Positions novel has reached number one on the Kindle, despite failing to register anywhere on the physical book charts.

This is because it’s free. And filthy.

Christina Brashear, publisher of Samhain Books, told Slate that giving a book away for free works for purely digital titles, but few would dare try it with a physical book.
