Orange to launch its own tablet?

Orange is working on an own-branded tablet computer that significantly undercuts the price of Apple’s iPad, reports suggest.

According to Les Echos (via TelecomPaper), Orange is working with an Asian manufacturer on a 3G-enabled Android device that will be available in time for Christmas and cost less than half the price of the iPad, which Orange already offers.

The mobile phone operator is thought to planning to offer three tablets by the end of the year.
