Electronics maker Sharp is planning to launch a 3D smartphone by the end of the year, which the user doesn’t need special glasses to view.
The Japanese firm announced it was working on a 3D mobile display earlier this year, but had not previously given any details about what kind of device would use the technology.
A Sharp spokeswoman told Reuters that the new smartphone would probably have an integrated 3D-capable camera.
