NTP launches litigation frenzy over wireless email systems

Apple, Google, Microsoft line up to get sued

NTP is taking the big three of the tech world – Google, Microsoft and Apple – to court over the use of wireless email systems, reports the San Jose Business Journal.

The patent holding firm has already filed a lawsuit against Blackberry maker RIM, in which it won $612.5 million. The case was fought for six years, and ended when the US Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal by the defendant.

NTP has also reportedly filed similar cases against Good Technology, Nokia and Vistro in the past.
