Chain store impressed PCR with its range of laptops and strong customer service

PC World tops Mystery Shopper

PC World came top in this month’s Mystery Shopper, when PCR headed to Warrington in search of the best laptop available for £1,000.

Our shopper was disappointed that “Despite clearly stating my budget was £1,000, few of the stores came close to the limit and none took the opportunity to show me what a little more money could get me.”

However, PC World did recommend a product priced at £999.99 and scored an impressive eight out of ten for the shop assistant’s good knowledge and strong customer service.

“The assistant was very informative without getting bogged down in jargon,” our shopper said, adding: “The product variety was very wide – what I would expect from PC World.”

Comet and independent store Castle Computers came in joint second.
