2010 event to be held at London's Earl's Court

Storage Expo relaunched as 360?IT

Storage Expo has been expanded and relaunched as 360°IT, with 2010’s event aiming to provide a “360 degree experience” for IT professionals from network managers to CIOs.

Research with Storage Expo vendors, IT professionals and end users by organiser Reed Exhibitions showed that the event needed to evolve to meet the needs of organisations looking to add value to their stakeholders.

“The content of Storage Expo has expanded over the years to incorporate cloud, virtualisation, information management and infrastructure,” says Natalie Booth, the event director of Storage Expo. “The event now needs to reflect these changes. 360°IT will facilitate vendor and end user collaboration to create the IT infrastructure necessary to achieve key business objectives – improving service, reducing cost and managing risk whilst gaining competitive advantage and growth.”

“In the storage market over the last few years, we have seen major vendors acquiring and collaborating with companies in the information management, ECM, IT security, business continuity, risk management and most recently, virtualisation and cloud fields,” Booth added. “We also recognise that the roles of IT professionals are changing and a 360° vision of the IT infrastructure and IT department is needed, combined with the ability to support the growth requirements of a business.”

360°IT will take place at Earls Court, London, from 22 to 23 September 2010. According to the organiser, end users will have the opportunity to experience current and innovative technologies, while entire IT departments will be able to gain information and advice on the latest products and sector trends.
