Google launches folder-sharing

Google has applied a major update to its Google Docs service after a surge of requests calling for it to add folder sharing.

Google had described its new folder sharing feature as “far and away the most requested”.

The new service allows users to upload files, notes, pages etc and share them between invited participants across the cloud.

Google says it has ensured that users can upload multiple files at the same time.

The update comes with a slight facelift to the cloud-based service.
