Microsoft has announced the suggested retail price of its Windows 7 Family Pack, ahead of its October 22nd release.
The Family Pack, which will allow users to install Windows 7 Home Premium on up to three PCs, has had its SRP set at £149.99. However, the company has warned the channel that there will be limited supplies of this product.
It also clarified the pricing of its upgrade and full versions following the abandonment of the Windows 7 E version. Until December 31st, the Home Premium upgrade edition will cost £79.99, after which the price rises to £99.99. The full version will carry a SRP of £149.99.
Windows 7 Professional upgrade and full versions are priced at £189.99 and £219.99, while Ultimate are £199.99 and £229.99 respectively.
