Asus has developed a new philosophy for its designs and has utilised this year’s Computex to showcase some of the products that have arisen from the new direction.
Operating under the slogan ‘Inspiring Innovation – Persistent Perfection’ and with an emphasis on a seamless experience, Asus has developed a number of new products such as the UX30 notebook, the Eee PC Seashell and the ultra-thin MS Series displays.
The Seashell is the latest in the new streamlined Eee PC range, and features a tiny, custom-made PCB, which Asus claims will make the device the most compact and portable 10-inch netbook on the market.
The UX30 netbook, also has an emphasis on portability and is based around Intel’s consumer ultra low voltage processor, while the MX Series of displays are only 19mm thick, with an energy efficient LCD screen.
