New web browser available for download, free to licensed Windows users

Internet Explorer 8 ready for release

Microsoft’s latest version of Internet Explorer will shortly be available for general release.

According to Reuters, users will be able to download the browser from the Microsoft Website after 9am, US Pacific Time.

Microsoft says that the new browser offers improved performance and search capacity, enhanced navigation, tighter security and broader compatibility.
