Trade body set to launch security reseller accreditation at same as US

CompTIA to bring Trustmark to UK

CompTIA is set to launch its Security Trustmark accreditation into the UK at the same time as the US after receiving positive feedback from the channel.

The vendor-neutral badge has been developed by the US trade body – which is making increasing moves into the UK channel – with the backing of major vendors including Microsoft, McAfee and Symantec.

Speaking to CRN, CompTIA’s European vice president Matthew Poyiadgi explained the reason for the move: "We have had some interest and are planning to put in place the necessary paperwork to launch the first Trustmark.

"Lots of customers are looking for these stamps of approval, especially in the current climate," he added.
