Gigabyte has used this year’s CeBIT to unveil a raft of new SKUs including three netbooks, upgrades to its PSU and desktop cases.
The ThinNote 1024 is Gigabyte’s latest netbook, coming with a 10.1-inch LED backlit screen. It has a resolution of 1024×600 and is less than 2cm thick, despite packing a 1.6GHz Atom, 1GB RAM and a 60GB or 80GB hard disk.
It was also showing off its Booktop, a netbook with a slightly larger resolution – 1366×768 – faster CPU and a 160GB hard drive. However, the key feature of the new device is its unique docking station, which allows the device to be charged, or used with a monitor, keyboard and mouse in a desktop manner.
Its Sumo case and Odin PSU ranges also saw an update.
