Software giant apparently weighing up redundancies

Microsoft considers job cuts

Microsoft is apparently considering making a large amount of redundancies, which would be an unprecedented move for the software giant.

The Wall Street Journal claims sources have said the firm is “seriously exploring significant work force reductions,” though they also added that alternative courses of action could also be pursued.

Apparently, an announcement may be made early next week.
