Kesa chief to retire

Kesa’s long-standing chief executive Jean-Noël Labroue is set to retire next year, with Thierry Falque-Pierrotin being announced as his successor.

Falque-Pierrotin is set to join the parent company of Comet on January 5th from PPR – the parent company of French retail giant Fnac – with Labroue stepping down after a short handover period.

"He brings with him substantial experience in European and international multi-channel retailing," Kesa chairman David Newlands said in a statement.
