Electronics vendor Mitsubishi is looking to crack the IT sector after making waves in the AV and education channels.
The company is levelling a hefty marketing campaign in order to establish its brands and products – chiefly its range of projectors and displays. The XD500 series of high contrast, filter free DLP projectors and range of commercial large format LCD displays will be at the frontline of this push.
"We have been growing our business within the traditional AV channel and education sector for several years, and we are now well established within these markets, thus letting us concentrate on growing our brand presence within the IT channel," said Fraser McDonald, UK sales manager at Mitsubishi.
"This coincides with our strong product line up which is ideally suited for IT. We have established partnerships with IT distributors which have the experience of working closely with retailers, giving them the service that they require.
"We have just put into place a marketing campaign that should increase the awareness within the IT channel, including trade advertising and joint marketing with our new partners."
