Firm preparing to launch new MacBooks and 3G iPhone?

Apple has taken down its online store, most likely in preperation to launch new MacBooks and the 3G iPhone.

No details for the update other than the firm is updating the store have been given.

As reported by PC Retail earlier today, Apple is widely expected to reveal a new 3G version of its iPhone within the next hour.

Steve Jobs is currently keynoting the Worldwide Developers Conference.
