New version of Skype released

Skype has released the latest version of its VoIP software, Skype 3.8 For Windows, with an improved ‘audio engine’ which it claims provides improved sound quality and a reduction in dropped calls.

The software also allows the user to change the headset, headphones and microphone with a greater degree of ease, since much of the setting adjustments are now taken care of in the background.

Various other bugs have also reportedly been amended.
