Shuttle launches gaming PC

Shuttle has rolled out its latest compact PC, the XPC SX38P2.

The new PC comes equipped with Intel’s X38 gamer-oriented chipset, which allows the computer to take a 45nm processor and a pair of graphics cards. It incorporates a 450W power supply unit, with a motherboard that can take Intel Core 2 Extreme, Core 2 Quad or Core 2 Duo processors, and there is also room for up to three hard drives and for up to 8GB of 800MHz DDR3 memory.

If that’s not enough to please the gamers out there, there are two PCI Express 2.0 slots for two AMD Crossfire enabled graphics cards, and a mini PCI express slot for further add-ins. Furthermore there are eight USB 2.0 ports, two eSATA ports and two Firewire connectors.

The XPC SX38P2 is available now with a price of around $631 (£319).
