First event takes place from September 28th to 29th

Network Group launches Exist2Game

Network Group has announced its new event aimed at allowing end users to experience the latest in PC gaming technology.

Exist2Game will be held all over the UK, mainly at stores of independent computer retailers. The first event takes place from September 28th to 29th and venues already confirmed include retailers in Birmingham, Gibraltar, Kilmarnock, Leeds, Reigate, Sevenoaks and Wrexham, with more to follow.

“With the demise of some pure-gaming names on the high street in recent months we think the time is right for some of our members who are involved in the gaming market to take a bigger slice of market share. This initiative, the idea of Steve Lightfoot of Pudsey Computers Nr Leeds, will allow trusted retailers to showcase the leading gaming products to their customers and grow share”, said Group MD Phylip Morgan.

Steven Lightfoot commented: "In our experience customers are far more likely to buy a gaming product once they’ve tried it. Hosting Exist2Game events all over the country will allow gamers to try products instore by playing in local and online tournaments running over the weekend. The tournament will be made up of the national knock out stages, where 4 or 5 person teams will play other teams from different retail stores. The winning team will then take part in a final between 4pm and 5pm on the Saturday 28th Sept."

"The store and gaming products will be available for customer to browse for the entire weekend, and we will also invite any manufacturer or vendor to send along anyone wishing to give product demos in store to customers or raise their brand profile”.
