The tablet-hybrid will be available for £639 in the UK

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 hits UK this month

On August 28th the Surface Pro is set to arrive in 25 more countries, including the UK.

Microsoft is planning to expand shipments to Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Luxembourg, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand.

The tablet-hybrid can be pre-ordered today from most markets for delivery later this month.

The Surface Pro 3 has been available in the US and Canada since June 20th, and has already been subject to several updates ahead of its UK debut.

It received a power button and a performance boost, whilst the device continues to feature a 4th Generation Intel Core, Core i5 and Core i7, as well as a much larger 12-inch display screen.

However, the larger screen does not add any extra weight, with the Surface Pro 3 weighing in at 800g, and measuring 9.1mm in thickness.

A kickstand accessory is also included, with a movement range of 150 degrees. As well as that, a docking station allows the Pro 3 to act like a desktop, enabling interaction with touch, type and pen.

The Surface Pro will cost UK users £639, while US customers will pay $799 (£474).
