Entatech backs PCR Woman of the Year award

Distributor Entatech has signed up as headline partner for the PCR Woman of the Year award event.

The new award ceremony and networking event celebrates leading women in the tech industry, following on from the success of our Top 50 Women in Tech feature earlier this year. During the awards ceremony, one of those featured in the article will be presented with the debut PCR Woman of the Year award.

The event takes place on October 17th from 11.30am to 2.30pm at Home House, a private members’ club located at 20 Portman Square, London, W1H 6LW, occupying a terrace of Georgian townhouses with 18th Century architecture. As well as honoring one particular individual, the event will also provide a valuable forum for peer to peer networking.

Jon Atherton, Entatech Director, told PCR: “There is a misconception that the IT industry is still very much male dominated. It’s fantastic to see an industry event that recognises the achievements of women in today’s industry – some of whom I have had the great pleasure of working with over the past 20-plus years.

"I hope to see some of our own female members of staff in a future nominee line-up! Congratulations to all the women who made the shortlist.”

Tickets are just £59 (plus VAT) per person and the event is open to everyone – both men and women. A buffet lunch and free drinks are also included.
