Beta Distribution has tied up a deal to be the exclusive distributor of AccelStor products. The partnership will see Beta take control of distributing AccelStor’s entire stock of storage solution products. The full AccelStor NeoSapphire all-flash array range is now available from Beta Distribution. Its recently launched all-NVMe array and NeoSapphire P310, will also come under Beta Distribution’s control.
David Kao, vice-president of AccelStor said that the partnership will help AccelStor take on the UK market. “AccelStor is excited to partner with Beta Distribution to bring the innovative, ground-breaking NeoSapphire all-flash array technology to our enterprise customers and push the boundaries of IT solutions,” he said. ”By combining AccelStor’s vision and expertise in all-flash solutions with Beta Distribution’s experience in the UK enterprise market, our joint efforts will enable us to define exciting new opportunities and provide cutting-edge storage solution to our clients.”
Meanwhile, Tony Howard, enterprise strategy and operations manager at Beta said the distie was excited about AccelStor’s range of products. “AccelStor adopts a true ‘software-defined’ approach to designing all-flash arrays to provide cost-effective all-flash storage with powerful performance for any scenario,” he said. ‘The P310 delivers outstanding IOPS performance and very low latency, making it an optimum storage solution for enterprise, virtualization and VDI. The company’s NeoSapphire series of all-flash arrays has been designed to resolve performance bottlenecks for I/O-intensive applications like virtualisation, high-performance computing, database, and media processing. It comes in a variety of models, including the 10GbE, InfiniBand and Fibre Channel. Usable capacity ranges from 1TB to 23TB. Many software features are included as standard, Snapshot, Remote Replication, and Free Clone are all standard, making this series well-suited for virtualisation, database management, and data protection. Selected models have achieved VMware Ready, DataCore Ready, Microsoft Server 2016, 2012 R2 and 2012 certifications. The whole series packs AccelStor’s award-winning software technology, FlexiRemap, which enhances data protection, improves drive endurance, and accelerates random-access speed.
