Kingsfield focuses on customer service and value as keys to success

Kingsfield Computers is focusing on achieving significant growth by placing emphasis on delivering excellent customer service and the best prices. The Northampton-based company is already a major supplier to NHS Trusts and to both local and central government, and as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to put pressure on public sector budgets, believes that delivering a simple service that meets the direct needs of its customers is the recipe for success.

Nitesh Ganatra, Managing Director of Kingsfield, said: “In our experience what most public sector customers want is a service that goes beyond their expectations and competitive prices – that is where we focus our efforts. We promise to respond to all customer enquires or questions within 30 minutes, and to deliver on time and as expected. That approach has served us well over the last 20 years and with the kind of challenges that the public sector is now facing, it will continue to work – both for us and for our customers. We deliver great service and great value every day and that’s something they really appreciate.”

Kingsfield is already well-established within the public sector and serves the needs of over 400 customers, many of whom have been purchasing IT products from the company for close to 20 years. Kingsfield is currently listed as a supplier on five technology frameworks, including Crown Commercial Services (CCS) and National Procurement Service for Wales. It achieved a quality score of 86.2 (out of 100) on CCS. Separately, it has an average score of 4.9 out of 5.0 on Trustpilot reviews, and is working towards becoming ISO 9001 certified.

Ganatra believes that keeping things simple is important in the public sector. “Many reseller businesses talk about enabling digital transformation for their customers and others are moving towards managed services – but there is still need there is still a real need for good, honest, and simple IT product supply. That is what we focus on doing and we make no apologies about that. It’s the key to our success.”

As a result of its uncompromising approach to customer service and value, Kingsfield expects to achieve significant growth in 2020. While it is currently one of the smaller IT suppliers on major public sector frameworks, it expects turnover to grow by over 40 percent this year, to reach £5 million. The company is making further investments in internal systems and personnel and expects to achieve even higher rates of growth in 2021.

All these ambitions will be founded on sticking to its core principles, said Ganatra. “We know our customers. We understand their needs and we genuinely care about them. We see no reason to divert from that course, and every reason to pursue it with unbounded energy and enthusiasm, and an unshakable dedication to customer service.”
