Ads on Talksport and Kiss FM will run until May 11th

Ebuyer kicks off spring radio campaign

Electronics etailer Ebuyer.com has commissioned a set of funny radio ads for a new spring marketing campaign.

The advertisements – running from April 7th to May 11th on Talksport and Kiss FM – feature consultations between a doctor and patients who have come to explain their Ebuyer.com symptoms.

It’s implied the patients are addicted to buying goods from Ebuyer and have come to their doctor for help. The commercials sign off with the line, ‘Have you got Ebuyer.com yet?’

The bulk of the campaign is targeting the Greater London region with ads on Kiss FM and Talksport, which may also be available to those listening on digital radio.

If the campaign is successful in the London area, Ebuyer says it may look to expand the advertising further north during the year – possibly culminating in a national campaign.

Sue Pickering, Head of Brand at Ebuyer.com, told PCR: “We knew the brand symptoms of Ebuyer.com were laying dormant in many people. The campaign’s objectives are to reawaken them and encourage the patients to embrace the new and exciting benefits that come from getting Ebuyer.com.”

The ads were written by Rick Ward and Pete Camponi from Us&Them and produced by Spencer Bain at VTR North.
