Content+Cloud named as Microsoft Cortex Preferred Partner

UK technology services provider, Content+Cloud, is just one of 17 companies globally to be named by Microsoft as a preferred partner for its latest  Project Cortex, Microsoft’s new knowledge network technology that works within its 365 apps.

Project Cortex integrates AI into Microsoft 365 to help companies manage client on-boarding, client and supplier management, expertise location and retention of corporate knowledge.

Just one of 17 companies globally to achieve this status, as part of the partner scheme, Microsoft outlines three types of partner status: Preferred, Chartered and Associate. To achieve Preferred status, partners must work to close at least 20 Project Cortex engagements, have team members complete Project Cortex training, and help with adoption, usage, and reporting.

Chris O’Brien, Product & Services Director at Content+Cloud and a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional, said: “Being named as one of just 17 companies globally is a massive achievement for the Content+Cloud team. But the real benefit lies with our customers. Through this exclusive access and status within Project Cortex, we can deliver value for any investment in resulting capabilities. This is because we have been intimately involved from the outset in developing the project’s core functions and services, providing our insight to Microsoft’s own engineers to ensure the greatest return on investment. We look forward to continuing our close working relationship with Microsoft and delivering ever-more innovative products and services.”

Content+Cloud assisted Microsoft during the development of Project Cortex in a private preview programme. This involved the firm – which has three Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals – providing feedback and guidance to Microsoft’s engineering teams to further develop the capabilities and services.

Peter Sweetbaum, CEO of Content+Cloud, said: “As one of the most Microsoft-awarded partners, being named as a Preferred Partner is another important step forward for Content+Cloud. We have built our business around being market leaders in how to use Microsoft technologies to make a difference to our clients and the way they operate – this status is proof of that. We look forward to passing this value on to our customers.”
